SUNMAI operates two parallel brands—restaurant and craft beer—under the same name, often causing public confusion.
This project focuses on redefining the visual identity and website for the SUNMAI beer brand, strengthening its digital presence and clarifying its market positioning through an immersive online experience.
I was responsible for the overall brand visual renewal and website visual & UI design.
02|CONCEPT
The website is built around the themes of exploration and taste, using the SUNMAI logo’s curved geometry as a core visual element throughout the interface. Mandatory warning messages are integrated into this curved system to reduce visual disruption and become part of the brand language.
Golden bubbles inspired by real beer carbonation, combined with subtle parallax motion and a modified type system, create a balance between a bold visual tone and a smooth reading experience.
Infinite scrolling, drag-based product exploration, and dynamic pouring animations further enhance the sense of immersion and discovery across the site.
